Tarun serves as Managing Director of the Onyx Bridge Wealth Group – Maryland Branch. In this role, he manages client relationships, oversees the daily operations of the office, and leads and supports its employees. Tarun is also a member of the Onyx Bridge Executive Committee, where he participates in shaping the firm’s strategic growth and long-term focus.

Education:

Tarun was raised and educated in New York. He attended Bronx High School of Science and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the City University of New York (CUNY) – Brooklyn College. He later earned a dual Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from Fordham University.

Professional Bio:

Olac Pallan serves as Director of Portfolio Management for Onyx Bridge Wealth Group. He leads the wealth management team, manages client relationships, and is an integral member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Olac oversees client portfolios to ensure alignment with the firm’s asset management philosophy, advising clients on strategies to meet their financial objectives and providing updates on portfolio performance, market commentary, and customized recommendations.

Olac joined Onyx Bridge Wealth Group with more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently serving as Lead Portfolio Manager for Latin American offshore clients at Deutsche Bank in New York. He has broad expertise in fixed income and equities, industry analysis, alternative investment options, debt capital markets, and deal negotiations, with prior roles at JP Morgan, Royal Bank of Canada, Martin Capital Group, Merrill Lynch, Citibank, and Credit Suisse. Olac holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.

Education:

Olac earned a Master of Arts in Applied Economics from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.

Kevin Moody is a Private Wealth Advisor for Onyx Bridge Wealth Group. He assists existing and new clients with financial planning, investment management, and long-term goal attainment. As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), Kevin plays a key role in helping clients make the most of their resources. He joined Onyx Bridge Wealth Group from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he advised clients on goals-based, outcome-driven planning solutions, and previously worked at JP Morgan Chase, assisting clients with various mortgage needs. Kevin holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.

Education:

Kevin was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and moved to Maryland in 2017. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and Education from Arizona State University.

Get to Know:

A lifelong athlete, Kevin played club hockey in high school and continues to stay active with hockey, golf, and hiking. He is married and a father of two daughters. Fun fact: he has a twin brother in Arizona who is also a father of two girls!

Daniel “DJ” Reeves is a Financial Analyst for Onyx Bridge Wealth Group. He focuses on process improvement and ensuring an outstanding client experience. DJ has earned a Securities Industry Essentials® (SIE®) certification and holds a Series 7 license. Prior to joining Onyx Bridge, he worked for the University of Maryland Division of Student Affairs – Office of Development & External Relations and the Bethesda Soccer Club.

Education:

DJ received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland. While at Maryland, he was a four-year member of the Terrapins’ Division 1 Men’s Soccer Team and served on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, experiences that taught him the importance of organization and time management in achieving goals.

DJ moved from Dallas, TX to Maryland at the age of eight and currently resides in Baltimore. In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching soccer and taking daily runs with his Australian Shepherd, Jazz.
