The honest answer led him to research other firms and what he found was clear: there was a better way. From technology and investment vehicles to fee structures and service models, nearly everything in the traditional model could be improved. With that realization, Jared made the difficult decision to take the leap and launch Onyx Bridge Wealth Group- knowing it would be the best long-term decision for clients.
At the core of Onyx Bridge Wealth Groupβs growth has been a clear set of values: trust, innovation, and clarity. βAdvisors leave firms for many reasons,β Jared shares, βbut too often itβs for their own benefit, not the clientβs. When you put clients in the best position possible, youβre inherently putting yourself in the best position as well.β From a group of 9 people at the start to a team of over 25 today, he feels the weight, and excitement, of providing opportunities for his people.
Outside the office, Jared finds balance on the golf course. βGolf is 90% between the ears, so it allows me to focus on something other than work for a few hours each week,β he shares. Itβs a way to recharge while doing something he loves.
As for his legacy? Jared hopes itβs defined by more than numbers. Building a firm that is bigger than any one person, creating a culture where team members love coming to work, and ensuring thousands of families receive thoughtful, client-first guidance- that, to him, is success.
He often repeats a personal mantra that has guided him since his advisory days: βMy greatest success lies in helping you achieve yours.β Today, that message applies not only to clients, but also to the growing team at Onyx Bridge Wealth Group.
